This role is entirely remote, allowing therapists to work from the comfort of their homes in Portland, Oregon, or anywhere in the state. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Engaging with clients through secure video chat sessions to facilitate therapy aimed at enhancing their mental health.
• Encouraging open discussion regarding emotions and experiences, fostering greater self-awareness and insight among clients.
• Acting as an advocate for clients as they define their personal goals and navigate the therapeutic process.
• Conducting comprehensive evaluations of clients’ mental health conditions and developing detailed treatment plans that employ a solution-focused methodology.

Our client population primarily consists of individuals who have been pre-screened for stability and present with low acuity needs. This allows our therapists to concentrate on providing high-quality care and support, fostering a safe environment for healing and growth.

Candidates must possess the following qualifications to be considered for this position:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An active independent state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). Limited or provisional licenses are not accepted.
• Adept skill in making professional evaluations, decisions, and recommendations for treatment planning and implementation.
• Exceptional interpersonal abilities coupled with a sympathetic and understanding nature, critical for building rapport with clients.
• Strong proficiency in computer usage to manage online client interactions and documentation efficiently.

While not mandatory, the following experiences will enhance your application:

• Previous work within a community health setting, demonstrating your ability to work with diverse client backgrounds.
• Experience in providing teletherapy services, ensuring comfort with remote interactions.
• Proficiency in utilizing therapy frameworks or methodologies that align with a solution-focused clinical approach.

The compensation package for this role includes:

• A competitive salary ranging from USD 90,000 to 104,000 based on your work hours and experience.
