This role is structured for a remote work setting, which allows for flexibility in your schedule while ensuring you remain connected with clients through virtual platforms. Our outpatient office environment focuses on accessibility, making it easier to reach clients who need support from the comfort of their homes. You will be expected to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues, utilizing telehealth technologies to streamline services.

• Conduct individualized assessments to understand client backgrounds, treatment needs, and goals.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to address a variety of mental health issues.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and client feedback, ensuring alignment with their treatment goals.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to coordinate care, sharing insights and progress updates to optimize outcomes.
• Provide educational resources and support to family members and caregivers to empower them in their roles and enhance the overall support system for the client.
• Monitor client progress and adjust treatment strategies as necessary, remaining responsive to their evolving needs.
• Stay informed about behavioral health best practices, trends, and policies to maintain a high standard of care.

The clientele of Clark Mental Health Clinic encompasses a wide range of individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational difficulties. Our holistic approach ensures we address the unique needs and perspectives of diverse populations, including children, adults, and families, thus preparing you to handle a variety of cases with empathy and professionalism.

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in psychology, counseling, social work, or a related field.
• Valid state licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC).
• Demonstrable understanding of mental health policies, treatment modalities, and the impact of prescribed medications.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients.

• At least two years of direct experience in providing mental health counseling, preferably in an outpatient setting.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documenting client interactions and treatment plans.
• Relevant training or certification in trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), or mindfulness-based practices is a plus.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $90,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
