• Conduct comprehensive assessments during initial consultations to understand each client's mental health needs and establish baselines for treatment.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address specific goals, using modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, fostering a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their feelings and experiences.
• Utilize teletherapy platforms effectively, ensuring high-quality virtual sessions for clients who may face mobility or accessibility challenges.
• Monitor client progress regularly and adjust treatment plans as necessary to better support their evolving needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client sessions, adhering to ethical guidelines to ensure confidentiality and secure information management.
• Engage in ongoing professional development, attending workshops and seminars that enhance clinical skills and keep therapies up to date.

Our therapists work primarily with individuals receiving hospice care, focusing on addressing psychological challenges such as anxiety, depression, and grief. Therapists must demonstrate a deep understanding of the emotional impact that terminal illness has not only on patients but also on their families, crafting empathetic therapeutic approaches that facilitate healing and acceptance during difficult times.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) in the state of Georgia.
• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and their families.
• A compassionate, empathetic, and non-judgmental attitude towards diverse patient populations.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to balance caseloads effectively.

While we welcome applications from seasoned professionals, candidates with specific experience in hospice or palliative care environments will have an edge. Familiarity with grief and loss counseling, as well as experience using teletherapy modalities, will also be highly regarded.
