Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct culturally sensitive and strength-based assessments for new patients and their families to ensure tailored therapeutic interventions.
  • Provide focused individual and family therapy sessions based on the specific needs identified during assessments, leveraging established therapeutic modalities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including billing, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms, in accordance with established timelines and regulations.
  • Develop comprehensive crisis plans, safety plans, relapse prevention strategies, and wellness maintenance plans to enhance clients' stability and functionality.
  • Create effective discharge plans that facilitate a smooth transition for clients completing their therapeutic journey.
  • Adhere strictly to all relevant federal and state laws, regulations, and internal policies to maintain compliance and ethical standards.
  • Engage in continuous professional development through training sessions and educational opportunities to enhance clinical skills and knowledge.
  • Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to foster collaboration and share insights with fellow professionals.
  • Complete all licensure requirements and mandatory training seminars to maintain your clinical credentials.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This role requires an understanding of a diverse clientele, including individuals and families from varied backgrounds who seek mental health support. You will work with clients experiencing a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and much more. The goal is to empower each individual, fostering hope and promoting mental well-being through tailored therapeutic practices that resonate with their unique cultural contexts.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.
  • Current licensure as a Mental Health Therapist in the state (LCPC, LCMFT, LCSW) is required.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting, providing direct therapy to clients.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of diverse therapeutic modalities and approaches to culturally competent care.
  • Experience working with varied client populations and understanding of community resources is a plus.
