Crosscare Behavioral Health Center is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor to join our team. • Client Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments and intake interviews to determine the mental health status of clients, identifying issues such as anxiety, depression, or substance abuse.
• Therapeutic Course Development: Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans based on best practices in mental health intervention.
• Regular Client Engagement: Schedule and conduct regular sessions with clients, monitoring progress and adjusting treatment strategies as needed.
• Referral Coordination: Provide referrals to other essential services, including psychiatric evaluation and medication management, when necessary.
• Crisis Management: Utilize strong crisis intervention skills to assist clients in distress, ensuring a therapeutic and safe environment.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR), tracking the ongoing progression of client treatment and outcomes.
• Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, contributing to case discussions and the integrative care approach.

This role involves working with a diverse population that may include individuals dealing with various mental health conditions, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma, and substance dependence. Your expertise will directly impact clients, facilitating their recovery paths and providing them with the necessary coping mechanisms and strategies for their challenges.

• Education: A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Licensure: Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Pennsylvania.
• Experience: A minimum of four years of experience in a clinical mental health counseling setting, demonstrating knowledge of psychological theories and therapeutic techniques.
• Cultural Competence: A strong foundation in culturally responsive care, understanding the nuances of diverse client backgrounds.
• Therapeutic Skills: Experience providing both individual and group therapy, employing therapeutic modalities suited to clients’ needs.
• Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to establish rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in EHR systems and the ability to adopt new digital tools and technologies efficiently.

• Experience involving crisis intervention and risk assessment.
• Previous work in a collaborative, team-oriented healthcare setting.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques, such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR.
