Work Environment

This remote outpatient setting provides counselors with a modern digital infrastructure to enhance the delivery of care. You will have access to a variety of digital tools, including electronic health record (EHR) systems, which facilitate effective documentation and help streamline patient interactions. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health statuses through virtual consultations, utilizing assessment tools and effective communication techniques.
• Design and implement comprehensive treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices and client-driven goals.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, employing culturally responsive methods to meet diverse client needs.
• Monitor clients' progress and modify treatment plans based on evidence of progress or emerging challenges.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure a holistic approach to patient care.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation in electronic health records, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and confidentiality requirements.
• Engage in ongoing training and supervision to enhance professional expertise and maintain licensure.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse array of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to depression, anxiety, eating disorders, and substance use disorders. Your expertise will play a critical role in guiding individuals towards recovery, enabling them to confront and manage their issues effectively. You will engage clients with empathy and understanding, tailoring your approach to respect their unique cultural backgrounds and life experiences.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Pennsylvania.
• A minimum of four years of related clinical experience, demonstrating a broad understanding of various mental health conditions.
• Proficiency in cultural competence, ensuring that therapy methods are inclusive and respectful of diverse practices and beliefs.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in providing both individual and group therapy sessions to clients from varied backgrounds.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the capacity to maintain composure in high-stress situations.
• Adeptness in utilizing technology for therapy sessions, including familiarity with telehealth platforms.
• History of collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams to address comprehensive client needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers an annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
