• Conduct one-on-one, group, and family therapy sessions via telehealth, focusing on mental health issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Perform thorough diagnostic assessments to evaluate clients’ mental health conditions, developing tailored treatment plans that align with clients' specific needs and goals.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including psychiatrists and social workers, to coordinate comprehensive care and ensure the delivery of holistic mental health services.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential electronic health records (EHR) using industry-standard technology, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide timely crisis intervention and risk assessments to ensure clients' safety and well-being during vulnerable moments.
• Engage in clinical supervision to enhance your skills, contribute to ongoing team learning, and stay abreast of current best practices in mental health care.

Our clients represent a wide array of backgrounds and experiences, often facing complex mental health challenges that include anxiety disorders, depressive disorders, substance use issues, trauma-related conditions, and relationship problems. Your role as an LMHC is pivotal in guiding these individuals towards recovery and resilience.

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of New York.
• A minimum of two years of professional counseling experience, preferably in a community health setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective client engagement and rapport building.
• Strong organizational skills for managing caseloads and documentation.
• Proficiency in EHR systems and telehealth platforms, with the ability to navigate technology comfortably.

• Experience providing therapy in a remote setting will be seen as a valuable asset.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and an understanding of varying therapeutic modalities.
• Previous involvement in crisis intervention and risk assessment.

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges between USD 90,000 and 100,000, commensurate with experience.
