Sharp Health Care Inc. is seeking a dedicated and qualified Clinical Mental Health Therapist to provide comprehensive mental health services to clients with mood disorders. This full-time position allows for remote work from the comfort of your home while being part of a dynamic team dedicated to mental health care in Germantown, Maryland. The role offers an annual salary range of USD 80,000 – 100,000, alongside a sign-on bonus for new hires.

This position offers a remote work setting, promoting a flexible work-life balance while you engage with clients and collaborate with colleagues. You will have the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, with occasionally scheduled evenings and weekends based on patient needs. The Clinical Mental Health Therapist will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at promoting the mental well-being of our clients, specifically targeting mood disorders. Key duties include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' emotional states, identifying symptoms of mood disorders such as depression and anxiety.
• Collaborating closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, preferences, and overall mental health needs.
• Implementing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to foster positive change in clients.
• Educating clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment processes, and practical self-care strategies to promote psychological resilience.
• Tracking and documenting client progress meticulously, adapting treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal growth and outcomes.
• Working in conjunction with psychiatrists and medical professionals to establish integrated care solutions for our clients, ensuring coordination in treatment.
• Engaging in continuous learning through staying informed about the latest advancements in mental health and mood disorder treatment methodologies.
• Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards while documenting therapy sessions and treatment plans.
• Participating in team meetings, case discussions, and professional development initiatives to enhance clinical skills and foster teamwork.
• Advocating for clients to reduce stigma surrounding mood disorders and promoting mental health awareness in the community.

In your role as a Clinical Mental Health Therapist, you will be working primarily with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including but not limited to depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our practice is committed to serving a diverse clientele, ensuring that you employ culturally competent practices and inclusive therapeutic approaches to meet varying client needs.

To be considered for this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Holds a current and valid licensure as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Maryland.
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience working with mood disorders is strongly preferred.
• Proficient in recognized treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on establishing strong therapeutic relationships.

Ideal candidates will possess prior experience in outpatient mental health settings, have a solid understanding of psychopharmacology, and demonstrate the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
