Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your primary responsibilities will include:

• Conducting ethical and compassionate individual counseling sessions via secure video chat platforms.
• Implementing evidence-based, solution-focused treatment modalities tailored to individual client needs.
• Developing and monitoring personalized treatment plans that facilitate insight into clients' thoughts, emotions, and relationship dynamics.
• Assisting clients in cultivating effective coping strategies and monitoring their progress throughout the treatment journey.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development to stay current with mental health best practices and innovations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your clientele will primarily consist of stable, low-acuity adults seeking assistance for a variety of mental health challenges. This may include issues such as anxiety, depression, stress management, and relationship concerns. The focus will be on helping clients improve their quality of life by developing essential coping mechanisms and building resilience.

Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A valid and fully independent license to practice mental health therapy, such as:
• Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT)
• Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
• Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
• No disciplinary actions or limitations on your license.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong empathetic nature.
• Proficiency in the use of technology and remote therapy platforms.

Preferred Experience

While the required qualifications are essential, experience in remote counseling or utilizing telehealth platforms is highly preferred. Previous work in community health settings or with diverse populations will also be advantageous in effectively meeting the needs of our clientele.
