Job description

Position Overview

Rising Ground Behavioral Health Center is on the lookout for dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Therapists to join our team as we provide vital support to individuals seeking to improve their mental well-being. This full-time role invites licensed professionals—specifically LMFTs, LCPCs, and LCSWs—to deliver high-quality clinical care through a remote work setting, aligning with our commitment to innovation and flexibility in mental health services.

About the Organization

At Rising Ground Behavioral Health Center, we are dedicated to enhancing the lives of our clients by providing comprehensive mental health services grounded in evidence-based practices. Our mission is to empower individuals affected by trauma, anxiety, and depression by fostering personal growth and resilience. We create a supportive environment that prioritizes the individual needs of our clients while emphasizing collaboration among our diverse team of mental health professionals. Our commitment to continuous improvement and professional development sets us apart in the Chicago area and beyond.

Work Environment

This remote role offers a dynamic and flexible work environment that supports work-life balance. Our mental health therapists typically engage in a Monday through Friday schedule, working from 9 AM to 4 PM, with some flexibility to accommodate patient needs. As a part of an outpatient practice, therapists utilize digital tools to connect with their clients, ensuring that therapy is accessible while maintaining a personal touch that is critical to effective care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough clinical assessments through virtual sessions, employing evidence-based practices and solution-focused interventions tailored to each client's unique mental health journey.
  • Implement and facilitate a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address a wide array of mental health conditions.
  • Maintain detailed and confidential clinical documentation, ensuring strict compliance with HIPAA standards and organizational policies.
  • Collaboratively engage with a multidisciplinary treatment team comprising psychiatrists, psychologists, and other specialists to achieve holistic care for clients.
  • Participate in regular case consultations and peer review meetings to continually enhance service quality and professional practices among the team.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment methodologies, and available resources to foster informed decision-making and empowerment.
  • Stay abreast of current research, trends, and advancements in the mental health field to integrate innovative practices into therapeutic work.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Rising Ground Behavioral Health Center serves a diverse clientele that includes children, adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health challenges. By addressing a wide spectrum of conditions such as depression, anxiety disorders, trauma-related issues, and more, our therapists are vital in fostering recovery and resilience in our community. The focus on client-centered care empowers each individual on their path toward mental health recovery.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • A valid and active license to practice as an LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW in the state of Illinois.
  • In-depth understanding of solution-focused psychotherapy interventions, with the ability to customize therapeutic approaches based on individual needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that enable connection and build trust with clients and their families.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills to assess client progress and adapt treatment plans accordingly.
  • A collaborative mindset, thriving in a multidisciplinary team environment that values diversity and encourages professional growth.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain client documentation and track treatment progress efficiently.
  • Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote therapy methodologies to provide accessible services to clients.
  • Previous experience working in outpatient settings, demonstrating adaptability to various therapeutic scenarios.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage designed to support your health and well-being.
  • Life insurance and disability coverage providing security and peace of mind during unexpected circumstances.
  • Professional liability insurance ensuring that you can practice with confidence.
  • Access to an employee assistance program offering additional support in navigating personal challenges.
  • Unlimited referrals, allowing for a steady and fulfilling caseload while making a meaningful impact.
  • A minimal paperwork requirement, enabling you to focus on client-care rather than administrative duties.
Career Growth Opportunities

Rising Ground recognizes and values the importance of professional development. We provide ongoing training, mentorship programs, and opportunities for advanced certifications that enable our therapists to expand their skills and enhance their career trajectories. As a member of our team, you will be encouraged to take leadership roles, engage in research initiatives, and participate in community outreach activities.

Why Join Our Team

By choosing to work with Rising Ground Behavioral Health Center, you are joining a dedicated and compassionate team committed to positively impacting lives.
