• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms for clients. This includes engaging clients in a supportive dialogue to understand their unique experiences.
• Collaborate with clients to craft personalized treatment plans that resonate with their goals and preferences, ensuring that each plan is tailored to their specific needs.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to provide effective treatment aimed at alleviating mood disorders.
• Educate clients and their families on mood disorders, treatment modalities, and self-care techniques, empowering them to take an active role in their recovery process.
• Monitor client progress meticulously throughout the treatment journey, adjusting therapeutic approaches as necessary to meet evolving needs and ensure optimal outcomes.
• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other medical professionals to facilitate integrated care approaches, ensuring comprehensive support for clients.
• Effectively document all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans according to legal and ethical standards, utilizing secure digital systems.
• Engage in case consultations and team meetings, contributing to a culture of continuous improvement and shared learning among staff.
• Advocate for clients by promoting awareness and reducing stigma associated with mental health issues, thereby enhancing community understanding and support.

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, including depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. Clients will vary in age and background, providing you with the opportunity to employ your skills across diverse demographics, each with unique experiences and perspectives that enrich your professional practice.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• A minimum of three years of relevant post-licensure experience in the mental health field, with a focus on mood disorders.
• Proficiency in evidence-based treatments, particularly CBT and DBT, demonstrated through a successful track record of client outcomes.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to coordinate effectively with prescribing psychiatrists for integrated care.
• Exceptional communication skills, with a talent for building rapport with clients from a range of cultural backgrounds.

• Experience working in telehealth or remote counseling settings is advantageous, enabling you to navigate the specific challenges and advantages of virtual mental health care.
• Experience in multidisciplinary settings, collaborating with other healthcare professionals to support holistic client care.

The salary for this full-time position ranges from $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a robust benefits package that includes:
