• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments that accurately identify the unique needs of each patient.
• Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing evidence-based therapies, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy.
• Deliver therapeutic interventions through virtual sessions, supporting individuals, couples, and families in a variety of therapeutic settings.
• Facilitate and participate in psychoeducational and support groups, fostering a sense of community among patients facing similar challenges.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care, including consultation with psychiatrists for medication management and other therapeutic needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services during mental health emergencies and develop safety plans tailored to at-risk patients.
• Educate patients about their mental health issues, treatment options, and community resources to enhance their coping strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation, ensuring compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and continuous professional development activities to stay current with industry best practices.

You will work with a diverse patient base encompassing a variety of age groups and backgrounds. Our clients often seek help for issues related to anxiety, depression, mood disorders, and substance use. As a licensed mental health counselor, you will have the opportunity to make significant contributions to their emotional health, enabling them to lead fulfilling lives.

• A completed Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Valid and active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Washington.
• Solid understanding of mental health disorders and familiarity with therapeutic approaches and modalities.
• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and craft effective treatment plans.
• Experience providing individual and group therapy to clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills critical for building rapport with patients.
• Strong ethical judgement and an ability to maintain professional boundaries.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technologies.
• A collaborative spirit, enjoying teamwork within a multidisciplinary staff.

Prior experience in a remote work environment is advantageous. Candidates with experience in crisis management or specialized training in particular treatment modalities will be given preference. Continuous education and involvement in professional groups will also be beneficial in this dynamic setting.
