Marina Insight Mental Healthcare Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. This position is fully remote, allowing counselors the flexibility to manage their work-life balance effectively while serving clients from the comfort of their own home. Utilizing telehealth platforms, counselors will connect with clients across various demographics, ensuring that we provide essential mental health services to those in need. Our remote team collaborates closely with multidisciplinary professionals, sharing insights and strategies for comprehensive care.

• Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations of clients to create tailored therapeutic strategies that address individual needs.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
• Facilitate individual, couples, and group therapy sessions, adapting approaches based on client progress and feedback.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure holistic client care and appropriate referrals for additional services.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in adherence to legal and ethical standards, ensuring clarity and confidentiality in all communications.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training, staying abreast of the latest developments in mental health research and practices.

As part of our mission to provide mental health services to underserved communities, you will work with a diverse patient population facing a wide range of mental health challenges. These may include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and family dynamics. Your role will be pivotal in offering empathetic support and guidance that leads to positive client outcomes.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Active licensure as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Psychologist within the state of Washington.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience in a clinical setting is required, demonstrating your ability to navigate complex clinical situations.
• Demonstrated understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health care.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with a variety of clients.
• Proven capability to collaborate effectively with healthcare teams, contributing to comprehensive client care plans.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and related technologies to facilitate efficient documentation and client tracking.

• Experience or specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse counseling, or trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• A strong foundation in utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities to cater to individual client needs.

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload.
