This position operates in an outpatient office setting that encourages collaboration and growth among our team of licensed therapists. While the role primarily involves direct client interactions in a supportive remote environment, occasional in-office team meetings and training sessions will foster a sense of community and shared learning. • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health challenges, ensuring personalized treatment plans are crafted to meet individual needs.
• Provide high-quality, evidence-based therapeutic services for individuals, groups, and families, employing various methodologies tailored to the client’s needs, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals including case managers, psychiatrists, and social workers to ensure a well-rounded and coordinated care approach for clients.
• Deliver crisis intervention and support during emergency situations, utilizing de-escalation techniques and immediate therapeutic interventions to provide relief.
• Engage in community outreach and educational programs aimed at promoting awareness and understanding of mental health issues within diverse populations.

Our clients include individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds facing an array of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. As a therapist, you will be responsible for creating a safe, empathic space where clients feel comfortable sharing their experiences and working towards recovery.

• Current and valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (such as LMFT, LPC, Psychologist, or LCSW) is required.
• A minimum of a master’s degree or doctorate in fields such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are critical for establishing rapport with clients and building therapeutic relationships.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and competence to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills, necessary for maintaining accurate and timely client documentation.

Two or more years of direct clinical experience in mental health counseling within a community mental health setting is preferred. Familiarity with electronic health record systems and documentation protocols will enhance the effectiveness of your role within our team.
