Green Forest Healing Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) to join our remote healthcare team. This full-time position is ideal for individuals passionate about providing high-quality mental health support and therapy in a telehealth environment. This position allows for flexible remote work, ensuring you can maintain a healthy work-life balance. Our telehealth platform facilitates a seamless counseling experience, allowing therapists and clients to connect in a secure online environment, making our services accessible to a broader patient base. While regular hours are Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm, occasional evening and weekend appointments may be necessary to meet client needs.

• Conduct thorough clinical assessments of clients to evaluate their mental health needs, identifying key areas for intervention.
• Develop and implement individualized evidence-based treatment plans, adapting strategies according to client progress and feedback.
• Provide comprehensive counseling services to individuals, couples, and groups, utilizing various therapeutic modalities and interventions tailored to the specific issues presented.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team of healthcare providers to ensure holistic and comprehensive care for each client.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records, adhering to all legal regulations and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Participate actively in regular supervision sessions, case reviews, and ongoing professional development activities to enhance clinical skills and ensure quality service delivery.

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
• A Master's degree in clinical mental health counseling or a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• A solid background in conducting both individual and group therapy, with particular expertise in evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills, enabling you to develop strong rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds and life experiences.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, essential for effective documentation and client interaction.
• A commitment to ethical practice and the ability to maintain confidentiality as per HIPAA guidelines.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a mental health counseling setting, demonstrating the ability to work with a varied client demographic.
• Experience in telehealth service delivery is advantageous, with familiarity in using virtual platforms to conduct therapy sessions.
• Knowledge or experience in working with specific populations, such as veterans, individuals in recovery, or those experiencing significant trauma, is a plus.
