As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Ultra Care Counseling Center, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conducting thorough assessments to determine client needs and developing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients and team members.
• Providing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness practices, and other relevant modalities.
• Maintaining accurate, timely records of patient interactions, progress notes, and treatment goals in compliance with organizational policies and state regulations.
• Educating clients on their mental health conditions, effective coping strategies, and self-care techniques to empower them in managing their health.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and case managers, to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
• Protecting client confidentiality by adhering to ethical guidelines and maintaining a secure environment for discussions and documentation.

Your work will primarily involve supporting adults facing a variety of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders. You will adapt your approaches to cater to each client's specific cultural, social, and emotional context, enhancing their therapy experience.

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• An active state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or an equivalent credential.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in an outpatient mental health setting, showcasing a track record of successful client engagement and therapeutic outcomes.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, allowing for clear and effective interactions with clients, families, and colleagues.
• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and cultural sensitivity, crucial for building rapport and effectively serving a diverse client population.

We also appreciate additional qualifications that may enhance your contribution to our clinic:

• Experience working with specific populations, such as veterans, LGBTQIA+ individuals, or those with substance use issues.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital tools used for remote counseling and client engagement.
• Experience with crisis intervention strategies and managing high-risk cases.
