This position is primarily remote, allowing the flexibility to work from home while collaborating effectively with colleagues across various disciplines. However, the LCSW will engage directly with clients both in virtual sessions and community outreach, ensuring comprehensive and accessible care. Utilizing teletherapy tools and digital communication platforms, you will maintain close contact with the team to deliver outstanding service to our clientele.

• Engage with clients experiencing major mental illnesses and severe emotional disorders through both individual and group therapy sessions conducted remotely and in the community.
• Develop and implement integrated care plans that are tailored to each client’s unique needs, ensuring coordination with family members and other health providers.
• Conduct thorough assessments, screenings, and interventions that incorporate evidence-based practices aligned with our organizational mission.
• Participate actively in team meetings to discuss case management strategies, shared goals, and collaborative approaches that enhance overall care delivery.
• Monitor and document clinical outcomes, ensuring compliance with ethical guidelines and organizational standards, while maintaining accurate records of client progress.
• Facilitate crisis interventions when necessary, employing de-escalation techniques and engaging appropriate resources to support clients in acute distress.
• Provide educational materials and resources to clients that empower them and promote informed decision-making regarding their mental health treatment options.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in training sessions and workshops aimed at enhancing clinical competences.

This role primarily serves individuals in Laredo, Texas, who face barriers to mental health care, including those from diverse cultural backgrounds and underrepresented communities. The LCSW will address a variety of psychological and emotional challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders, promoting recovery and resilience in each client.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.
• Strong knowledge of assessment techniques, treatment modalities, and ethical considerations in mental health practice.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey therapeutic concepts and engage with clients.
• Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, interacting constructively with diverse populations.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth services for documentation and client interactions.

Applicants should ideally have at least 2 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, with a focus on serving individuals experiencing emotional and psychological disorders.
