As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Develop and implement individualized, recovery-based treatment plans that foster client autonomy and community engagement.
• Continuously evaluate and assess clients' treatment needs to adjust plans and interventions effectively.
• Collaborate with clients to enhance their coping, problem-solving, and communication skills through evidence-based practices.
• Guide clients in creating comprehensive individual service plans and educate them about available community resources.
• Advocate for patients by connecting them to necessary services and facilitating access to programs that support their mental health and well-being.

You will primarily work with adults who experience a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and trauma-related disorders. Many clients face challenges that hinder their ability to maintain independence and stability within their community. Your role is crucial in helping them navigate their mental health journeys, fostering resilience, and providing essential support to improve their overall quality of life.

• A Master’s degree or higher in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
• Possess an active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Psychologist (PsyD) recognized by the state of New Jersey.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• No disciplinary actions on the license record.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with a genuine empathy for clients facing mental health challenges.

• Prior experience in providing direct clinical services in a community or clinical setting.
• Knowledge of various therapeutic modalities and symptom management practices.
• Familiarity with organizational documentation processes and electronic health record systems.
• Basic tech skills, including proficiency with online communication tools and platforms to ensure efficiency in remote patient care.

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition, we provide an attractive sign-on bonus and several benefits including:
