Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to determine clients' unique mental health needs, which will inform the creation of tailored treatment plans.
  • Deliver a variety of evidence-based therapeutic modalities to individuals, groups, and families, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, and experiential therapies.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including case managers, psychiatrists, and social workers, to ensure seamless and integrated care for clients.
  • Provide crisis intervention services for clients experiencing acute psychological distress or emergency situations, employing your clinical judgement and empathy.
  • Participate in community outreach initiatives aimed at promoting mental health awareness, education, and reducing stigma associated with mental illness.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds. Your experience will enhance your cultural competence as you adapt your therapeutic approach to meet the specific needs of each client. The patients you serve may include children, adolescents, adults, and families dealing with a wide range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to PTSD and complex trauma.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active license to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling from an accredited program.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to establish rapport and foster trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.
  • Demonstrated cultural awareness and sensitivity to ensure effective engagement with a widely varied client population.
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities to maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community mental health setting or outpatient facility is highly desirable.
  • Previous involvement in case management, treatment plan development, and crisis intervention is beneficial.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain clinical documentation and client records effectively.
