We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) to join our compassionate team at Guide Light Health & Wellness. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ mental health status and histories, leading to the development of individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
  • Facilitate therapy sessions that cater to individuals, couples, and families, employing evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) among others.

  • Maintain meticulous, confidential records and documentation that meet regulatory requirements and best practices to ensure client safety and confidentiality.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s degree or higher in Counseling or a closely related field is required.
  • An active and valid LCMHC license in the State of Vermont is essential for this position.
  • Proven experience (minimum of two years) in providing mental health counseling services, preferably in a clinical or community health setting.
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic practices and a commitment to ongoing learning and professional development.
