This is a full-time position, ideal for an experienced professional who is committed to making a meaningful impact on the mental health and well-being of students and their families. With a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, this role offers a unique opportunity to collaborate with educators and parents to foster healthy emotional and psychological development among youth.

About the Organization

Advocate Mind Health is a progressive mental health organization devoted to providing comprehensive therapeutic services that enhance the quality of life in our community. Our mission is to create a supportive environment that prioritizes mental health through innovation and compassionate care. We value our skilled professionals and invest in their growth, believing that a thriving workforce directly contributes to the well-being of our clients.

Work Environment

This position is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility in your work location while connecting with students, educators, and families via virtual platforms. Our innovative remote healthcare model is supported by state-of-the-art technology and tools designed to ensure seamless communication and effective intervention strategies. This environment not only encourages collaboration among team members but also upholds the highest standards of care.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, you will manage a full caseload and deliver psychotherapy services to children and adolescents within the school system. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough clinical assessments to inform treatment plans tailored to the unique needs of each student.
  • Implementing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address various mental health issues.
  • Maintaining comprehensive and accurate clinical records, ensuring compliance with HIPAA and organizational protocols.
  • Working collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, school counselors, and psychiatrists, to formulate a coordinated care approach.
  • Participating in regular case consultations and peer review sessions to enhance care quality and share best practices.
  • Offering education and resources to students and families regarding mental health, coping strategies, and available community supports.
  • Staying informed on current research and advancements in mental health care to enhance clinical practice.
Patient Population / Client Focus

This position primarily focuses on the student population within various school environments. You will engage with children and teens who may be facing academic, emotional, or social challenges, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Your role is vital in helping these individuals navigate their mental health concerns, ultimately promoting their academic success and personal growth.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
  • A valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential in the state of Arizona.
  • A minimum of three years of relevant clinical experience in providing therapeutic services, particularly in a school or outpatient setting.
  • Proficiency in solution-based psychotherapy and therapeutic interventions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with a strong ability to build rapport with students and families.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving skills necessary for tailoring interventions to individual needs.
  • A collaborative approach to working within a team environment, grounded in mutual respect and shared responsibility for patient care.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, experience working with school-aged children, familiarity with educational systems, and understanding of adolescent developmental issues would be advantageous. Candidates who have engaged in telehealth practices or remote therapy will be preferred as this role is conducted entirely online.

Compensation and Benefits

Advocate Mind Health offers a comprehensive benefits package designed to support the overall health and well-being of our employees:

  • Annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage.
  • Life and disability insurance to provide peace of mind.
  • Malpractice insurance coverage tailored for mental health professionals.
  • Employee assistance programs offering mental health support and counseling services.
  • Paid professional liability insurance to protect your practice.
  • Unlimited referrals to maintain a steady caseload and minimize downtime.
  • Minimal administrative responsibilities to allow you to focus on providing high-quality patient care.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Advocate Mind Health, we value continuous professional development. This role presents opportunities for further training, certification, and participation in workshops or conferences geared towards mental health advancements. With a supportive management team, employees are encouraged to pursue avenues for career advancement, whether that's through gaining additional specialties or taking on leadership roles within the organization.
