Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients' issues, needs, and strengths.
• Developing, monitoring, and editing individualized treatment plans to ensure they meet the evolving needs of each client.
• Carrying out the client intake process, addressing any immediate concerns, and ensuring a seamless transition into ongoing care.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary treatment team, including clinical directors and fellow counselors, to ensure comprehensive care.
• Identifying and addressing negative behaviors through evidence-based interventions while fostering a safe environment for open dialogue.
• Helping clients navigate addiction recovery by recognizing harmful behaviors and providing tailored strategies for overcoming urges.
• Documenting client progress meticulously through electronic health record systems to maintain continuity of care.
• Facilitating individual, group, and family counseling sessions designed to promote healing and wellness.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess educational qualifications – a Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Have a clean record regarding medical malpractice claims, verified through a third-party reference.
• Possess strong communication skills and the ability to conduct respectful, thorough client interactions.
• Exhibit adaptability to fast-paced environments while maintaining a professional demeanor in all interactions.
• Demonstrate fluency in English, both spoken and written.
• Maintain good physical and mental health to handle the challenges of the role.

Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, candidates with experience in community mental health settings, addiction recovery, or trauma-informed care are encouraged to apply. Familiarity with telehealth delivery methods and electronic health record systems will be advantageous.

This full-time position offers a competitive salary of USD 100,000 – 105,000 annually, complemented by a comprehensive benefits package, including:
