Our counselors operate within a flexible schedule, Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for optimal work-life balance. The primary responsibilities of the Licensed Mental Health Counselor will include:

• Conducting virtual therapy sessions tailored to individual client needs, primarily utilizing Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) techniques to address mental health challenges.
• Engaging in collaborative treatment planning with other mental health professionals, including psychiatric providers and fellow counselors, fostering a teamwork-driven approach to patient care.
• Employing digital assessment tools to track client progress, analyze treatment effectiveness, and make data-informed adjustments to therapeutic interventions.
• Maintaining comprehensive documentation of clinical sessions and progress notes in accordance with HIPAA regulations, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all client interactions.

The ideal candidate for this role will possess the following qualifications:

• A licensed mental health professional in Florida, holding credentials as either a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A Master’s or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field.
• Evidence of at least one year of independent licensure, with a preference for candidates who have two or more years of relevant clinical experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency with Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and an understanding of various treatment modalities appropriate for diverse mental health conditions.
• Strong technological aptitude and adaptability when utilizing digital clinical tools and telehealth platforms to enhance client interactions.

While we require a minimum of two years of experience for this position, candidates with additional expertise in managing complex cases, facilitating group therapy, or working with specialized populations will be highly regarded. Experience in utilizing digital therapy tools and online client engagement strategies is also beneficial.

Guiding Light Therapy offers a competitive salary range of USD 100,000 to 110,000 per year, complemented by performance-based bonuses that reward high-quality care and client satisfaction.
