• Conduct comprehensive assessments to analyze the severity, frequency, and duration of clients' mood disorder symptoms, utilizing various tools and methodologies.
• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances, incorporating their goals and preferences.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders, treatment options, and healthy coping strategies, empowering them to manage their mental health.
• Systematically track and evaluate clients' progress throughout their therapy, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on individual needs.
• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient care, leveraging shared insights for optimal outcomes.
• Stay current with the latest research and advancements in mood disorder treatments, applying newfound knowledge to enhance therapeutic practices.
• Maintain meticulous records of client interactions, assessments, and treatment decisions, adhering to legal and ethical standards of confidentiality.
• Engage in team meetings and case consultations to share insights and best practices, fostering continuous improvement in our treatment methods.
• Act as a strong advocate for clients, working towards reducing the stigma associated with mental health issues while promoting awareness and access to care.

Your primary focus will be individuals dealing with mood disorders, including clients experiencing depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related symptoms. • Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and current license as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is essential for this role.
• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment methods for mood disorders, particularly CBT and DBT, is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate with psychiatric professionals effectively.
• Exceptional communication skills, allowing for the establishment of rapport with clients of varied cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• Two or more years of post-licensure experience with a focus on mood disorders, showcasing a record of successful patient outcomes.
• Prior experience in an outpatient clinical setting is advantageous, providing familiarity with the outpatient treatment protocols and patient engagement strategies.
