Key Responsibilities

  • Engage and support families, ensuring comprehensive care around the needs of the child, incorporating family dynamics into treatment planning.
  • Develop rapport with children and families, fostering a trusting and safe environment conducive to personal growth and development.
  • Create individualized treatment plans that involve the family, leveraging evidence-based practices and adhering to the principles of Natural Learning Environment Practices.
  • Provide families with key skills and resources to support their child's developmental goals, incorporating practical and everyday applications of therapeutic themes.
  • Utilize a coaching model and natural environment teaching strategies to facilitate learning and engagement.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety standards to safeguard both staff and clients throughout service delivery.
Patient Population / Client Focus

You will actively work with children and families, particularly those from marginalized backgrounds, which may include individuals facing socioeconomic, cultural, and language barriers. A strong commitment to cultural competence, respect, and understanding of diverse family structures will enhance your ability to provide effective support to our client population.

Qualifications
  • A Master's Degree in Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC) is required.
  • At least 2 years of direct experience working with children in early intervention or related mental health settings.
