The Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) plays a pivotal role in providing compassionate and effective mental health support to marginalized populations in Oakland, California. This position offers a remote work setting, providing flexibility while still maintaining a connection to our outpatient office team. • Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments to identify clients’ needs and monitor outcomes as a key member of our multidisciplinary team.
• Develop strong rapport with children and families, ensuring a supportive and trusting relationship that promotes healthy development.
• Create individualized treatment plans in collaboration with families, employing evidence-based practices and Natural Learning Environment Practices.
• Provide psychoeducation and support to families, equipping them with skills and strategies to enhance their child’s development.
• Implement the coaching model and natural environment teaching methods to facilitate learning and growth.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety standards to protect both staff and clients.
• Maintain accurate documentation and follow up on care plans and interventions within prescribed timelines.

This position primarily serves children and their families who may face significant socio-economic challenges. As a member of Holistic Recovery Counselling, you will focus on early intervention strategies to support developmental milestones and mental health needs. You will approach each client with empathy, ensuring that their unique backgrounds and experiences are respected and integrated into their treatment.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work (LCSW), Marriage and Family Therapy (LMFT), or Professional Clinical Counseling (LPCC) is required.
• A minimum of two years of hands-on experience working with children in early intervention settings, demonstrating proficiency in adapting treatment plans to meet individual needs.
• Commitment to utilizing Natural Learning Environment Practices in counseling.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $120,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
