  • Facilitate workshops and group sessions aimed at enhancing social skills, conflict resolution, and emotional regulation among students.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that may include educators, school nurses, and external mental health professionals to ensure holistic care for each student.
  • Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of all interactions and progress, adhering to state regulations and school policies.
  • Engage in regular case reviews with the team and participate in training sessions to stay abreast of best practices and emerging evidence in the field of social work.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve school-aged children and adolescents experiencing a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. This includes but is not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and adjustment disorders. Your work will be instrumental in enabling students to thrive academically and socially by addressing mental health needs within the school environment.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in mental health or outpatient settings, preferably in a school environment.
  • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic interventions and a solid understanding of child and adolescent development.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
  • Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) systems is highly desirable.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience working within educational settings or with school-aged clients.
  • Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing student mental health services.
  • Experience in crisis intervention and developing safety plans for at-risk populations.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans to support your well-being.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with employer matching contributions to aid your long-term financial health.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) policy along with paid holidays.
  • Continuing education reimbursement to promote ongoing professional development and certification.
