Sunshine Psychological Health Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Remote Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMFT, LPCC, LCSW) to join our expanding team. This role is entirely remote, allowing for flexibility and the comfort of working from your own home. The position involves engaging with clients through telehealth platforms, facilitating weekly counseling sessions focused on evidence-based treatment. Our outpatient office setting fosters collaboration among counselors and psychiatric providers, ensuring comprehensive care for our clients. You will enjoy the autonomy of creating your own schedule between Monday and Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, with no on-call responsibilities.

• Conduct weekly live video counseling sessions with adult clients, using empirical methods to guide treatment.
• Continuously assess and monitor patient progress using technology-driven tools such as symptom self-assessments and goal progress metrics to inform treatment adjustments.
• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and peer counselors, to coordinate integrated treatment plans.
• Participate in team meetings and case consultations to enhance clinical effectiveness and share best practices.
• Document client interactions and treatment strategies thoroughly, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulatory and ethical guidelines.

As a Mental Health Counselor at Sunshine Psychological Health Center, you will be serving a diverse population of adults who may be experiencing a range of mental health issues, from anxiety and depression to more complex substance use disorders. You will be instrumental in creating a safe, affirming space for all clients, ensuring culturally responsive care that respects and values individual backgrounds and experiences.

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
• Proficient in utilizing telehealth technology to deliver quality care effectively.

• A minimum of 2 years of recent experience providing cognitive behavioral therapy and other evidence-based practices to adult clients.
• Experience working with higher-risk populations, addressing varied mental health diagnoses.
• Comfort in treating all demographics, including individuals with diverse backgrounds and mental health challenges.
