Job Description

Insight Global is seeking experienced HCC Risk Adjustment Medical Coders for a high-volume seasonal project supporting Medicare risk adjustment initiatives. This role is ideal for coders with a strong background in risk adjustment, HCC coding, and medical record review who can maintain accuracy while working in a fast-paced production environment.

  • Perform accurate HCC risk adjustment coding for Medicare populations.
  • Review and code medical records in accordance with ICD-10-CM and CMS risk adjustment guidelines, averaging 2 charts per hour.
  • Identify and capture appropriate chronic conditions and diagnoses that impact risk scores and reimbursement.
  • Ensure coding accuracy, compliance, and documentation integrity while meeting established quality standards.
  • Maintain productivity expectations and consistently meet project deadlines.
  • Collaborate with quality review teams and incorporate feedback as needed to ensure coding excellence.
  • Stay current on HCC coding updates, risk adjustment methodologies, and regulatory requirements.

Compensation

$18 to $21

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
