As a Remote LPC, you will work within an outpatient setting, allowing flexibility in your schedule while connecting with clients virtually. In this role, you will undertake a variety of responsibilities aimed at enhancing the mental health and overall well-being of your clients, which include:

• Collaborating closely with primary care providers to identify, treat, and manage mental health and psychosocial issues, ensuring a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Conducting thorough patient intakes that involve diagnostic assessments and functional evaluations, followed by formulating specific treatment recommendations to collaborate with primary care teams.
• Providing brief, focused therapeutic interventions for clients who require mental health support, enabling them to navigate daily challenges effectively.
• Advising primary care providers on patient cases that may require additional services or referrals to specialty mental health facilities.
• Initiating follow-up sessions to monitor client progress and assessing the need for adjustments in treatment strategies.
• Developing relapse prevention plans for clients to support their long-term stability and functionality.
• Detecting at-risk patients and crafting strategic plans to mitigate their deterioration.
• Coordinating health service delivery related to behavioral healthcare, ensuring that treatment is holistic and well-integrated.
• Documenting clinical findings and patient progress in treatment charts to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Informing primary care teams continuously about client needs and progress, thus fostering a collaborative treatment environment.
• Empowering clients through education on self-management skills, helping them become active participants in their own recovery.
• Consulting with clinic management and team members about behavioral health services and contributing to program evaluation efforts.
• Assisting patients in adhering to medical treatments prescribed by primary care providers, including offering strategies for medication management.
• Adhering to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals, ensuring that we are providing safe and respectful care.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse group of clients who may be facing various mental health challenges. This includes individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. The following qualifications are essential for this position:

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field is required.
• Current Licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Pennsylvania.
• Strong understanding of mental health assessment and treatment planning, including familiarity with DSM-IV diagnoses and therapeutic techniques.
• Proficient communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with clients and collaborate with other healthcare professionals.
