Responsibilities The Specialty Coder II is a Certified Professional Coder who assigns diagnosis and procedural codes using ICD-10 CM and CPT-4 coding systems. The Specialty Coder audits physician documentation to assign appropriate CPT codes, diagnosis codes, and modifiers. Mentors and training of other Specialty Coders.
