Job description

Polar Field Services supports scientific research in the world's most remote environments with safe, reliable logistics.

Join our team at Summit Station, Greenland to keep critical science moving. You'll manage the flow of supplies and equipment to/from a remote Arctic observation site.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments with the Kangerlussuaq cargo team

  • Organize, distribute, palletize, and document cargo

  • Lead aircrews during offload/onload operations

  • Uphold safety protocols and regulations

  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • 3+ years in remote/field environments

  • 1+ year in aircraft cargo operations

  • Valid U.S. passport

Preferred

  • 2+ years planning remote cargo/supply movements

  • Aircraft load planning & hazmat transport knowledge

  • Prior polar/remote logistics experience

  • HazMat certification (e.g., 49 CFR, IATA DGR, AFMAN)

Skills

Schedule & Compensation

  • Deployment to Summit Station, Greenland
