Peak Mental Health Services is actively seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our remote team within our Detox Center. This role is primarily remote, allowing social workers to connect with clients in the comfort of their own homes. Your work will involve collaborating with a multi-disciplinary treatment team, including psychiatrists, psychologists, and peer support specialists, to deliver comprehensive care.

• Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand each client's mental health history, strengths, challenges, and resources available for support.
• Provide individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and trauma-informed care.
• Develop, implement, and regularly update individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, outlining clear goals and appropriate interventions.
• Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure coordinated and effective care, including medication management and therapeutic interventions.
• Participate in crisis intervention and risk assessments to ensure client safety, helping to develop safety plans as necessary.
• Maintain detailed and accurate documentation of all client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
• Facilitate psychoeducation groups and support groups to empower clients with knowledge about their conditions and recovery processes.

Your primary focus will be on individuals undergoing detoxification from substance use and those suffering from concurrent mental health disorders. The clientele served at our Detox Center is diverse, including individuals from various cultural backgrounds and age groups. You will help them face their challenges head-on, offering personalized therapeutic interventions that are respectful of their unique situations.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active state license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• A minimum of one year’s experience in a mental health or outpatient treatment setting, particularly with substance use populations.
• Strong foundational knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic approaches and commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest practices in the field.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, along with effective assessment capabilities.

• Experience providing clinical support in a detox or substance use treatment facility.
• Familiarity with the principles of harm reduction and motivational interviewing.
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and client management.
