We are looking for a Principal Engineer to help define and build our next generation of cloud-native platform systems.This person willhelp shape our strategy for how we support internal and external customers'integration needs in a cloud-native, multi-tenant environment.

WhatWe'reLooking For

Required

  • 12+ years of experienceowning,buildingandshaping large-scale, cloud-native platforms.

  • Experience defining organization-wide technical standards.

  • Deep involvement in security, compliance, and reliability strategy.

  • Ability to align technical vision with company-level strategy.

  • Proven influence at senior and executive levels.

  • Exceptional mentorship, communication, and strategic thinking skills.

Nice to Have

  • Background in legal tech, AI-enabled platforms, or regulated domains.

  • External thought leadership or industry contribution.

  • Familiarity with AI development tools like GitHub Copilot, Cursor or Claude Code.

  • Experience working in global or highly distributed organizations.

Relativity is committed to competitive, fair, and equitable compensation practices.

This position is eligible for total compensation which includes a competitive base salary, an annual performance bonus, and long-term incentives.

The expected salary range for this role is between following values:

$210,000 and $314,000

The final offered salary will be based on several factors, including but not limited to the candidate's depth of experience, skill set, qualifications, and internal pay equity. Hiring at the top end of the range would not be typical, to allow for future meaningful salary growth in this position.
