Ardurra is seeking a Graphic Designer to support our Corporate Communications Team in one of the following locations: Dallas, TX; Tampa, FL; Raleigh, NC; Charlotte, NC; Knoxville, TN; Orlando, FL.

While remote candidates will be considered, this role is ideally based in or near one of Ardurra’s offices to allow for periodic in-office collaboration.

Primary Function
The Graphic Designer supports Ardurra’s Corporate Communications efforts through the development of high-quality visual content across internal and external channels. This position sits within the Marketing team and reports to the Graphic Design Manager and Corporate Communications Director, with primary responsibility for supporting Corporate Communications.

The role combines creative thinking with hands-on execution, with a strong emphasis on developing digital-first visual content that strengthens audience engagement, supports brand visibility, and ensures consistency across Ardurra’s channels. With strengths in design, visual storytelling, and multi-channel content development, the Graphic Designer creates compelling, on-brand assets for website, intranet, email, social media, presentations, video, events, and other communications needs, while also supporting template development, brand stewardship, and asset organization across the function.

Primary Duties

  • Develops visual content for internal and external communications across website, intranet, email, social media, presentations, events, and other branded materials, with a digital-first approach to platform needs, audience engagement, and consistency across channels.
  • Partners with Corporate Communications, the Graphic Design Manager, and other stakeholders to translate messaging, campaigns, and project needs into clear, compelling visual content and refine deliverables across formats.
  • Supports communications projects from concept through final execution, helping ensure strong creative alignment, timely delivery, and consistency with brand standards.
  • Designs graphics and layouts for digital and print materials, including social graphics, email visuals, presentations, signage, collateral, and event materials.
  • Supports video and multimedia storytelling through basic video editing, motion graphics, and related visual content development as needed.
  • Helps shape creative concepts and visual direction for communications initiatives in partnership with Corporate Communications and Marketing.
  • Serves as a steward of Ardurra’s visual brand by helping apply, protect, and reinforce brand standards across communications materials and channels.
  • Develops, manages, and maintains branded templates, visual systems, and shared design assets, including stock photography, icons, and branded graphics, to improve consistency, efficiency, and asset management.
  • Supports brand-related initiatives, including the brand store, branded merchandise, and other materials that extend and strengthen the Ardurra brand experience.
  • Coordinates with vendors, photographers, and other external partners as needed.
  • Conducts quality reviews and final checks on deliverables before production or distribution.
  • Manages multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Stays current on design trends, digital tools, and emerging technologies, including AI-enabled creative tools, and brings forward ideas to strengthen creative execution.

Education and Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in graphic design; experience within the A/E/C industry or a technical, project-based professional services environment is preferred, but not required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Art, Visual Communications, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
  • Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, particularly InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop, as well as Microsoft PowerPoint and Canva.
  • Experience designing for digital channels, including website, intranet, email, social media, presentations, and other communications assets.
  • Basic video editing and motion graphics experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of typography, spacing, white space, visual hierarchy, and brand consistency across formats and platforms.
  • Experience developing and maintaining templates, branded assets, and shared design resources preferred.
  • Experience organizing digital assets and supporting asset management best practices is preferred.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational, editing, and proofreading skills.
  • Detail-oriented, organized, collaborative, and flexible.
  • Openness and responsiveness to feedback, with the ability to make timely revisions.
  • Ability to work and manage projects both independently and collaboratively with diverse teams, including Marketing, Corporate Communications, technical managers, and external partners.
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple assignments concurrently under tight deadlines.
