Key Responsibilities- Conduct thorough evaluations to assess client needs and develop tailored treatment plans that reflect individual goals and circumstances.
- Facilitate therapy sessions utilizing a variety of established therapeutic modalities, incorporating cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness-based approaches.
- Employ behavioral techniques designed to promote client growth, equipping them with skills to manage personal challenges effectively.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date electronic health records, documenting client progress and treatment outcomes in accordance with clinic protocols and regulations.
- Engage in continuous professional development, attending workshops and training sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and stay informed of the latest mental health practices.
The primary focus of this role is to provide mental health counseling to a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of mental health issues. This includes, but is not limited to, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and trauma-related concerns. By fostering a safe and supportive environment, our counselors assist clients in navigating their mental health challenges and working toward meaningful outcomes.
Qualifications- A Master’s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field is required to ensure a strong foundation in therapeutic practices.
- Candidates must possess an active licensure as either a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
- At least two years of post-graduate clinical experience is essential, allowing the therapist to effectively engage with clients and implement therapeutic interventions.
- Exemplary communication and relationship-building skills are crucial to establishing rapport with clients and facilitating productive therapeutic relationships.
- Experience in using electronic medical record systems is beneficial for efficient documentation and compliance.
