This role is designed for individuals who enjoy the flexibility of remote work while being part of a collaborative and collegial group practice. Our outpatient clinic emphasizes a supportive environment, enabling counselors to focus on their therapeutic practices within a structured yet flexible framework. As a wholly outpatient practice, our therapists engage with clients primarily through video conferencing and teletherapy, allowing for accessibility and convenience in the therapeutic process.

• Provide weekly clinical supervision to practicum students and interns pursuing licensure, offering mentorship in clinical techniques and professional ethics.
• Deliver tailored psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, and families, using diverse therapeutic approaches based on client needs.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and community resources to ensure comprehensive care that integrates mental health support with other services as needed.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, conducting regular assessments and adjustments to goals in response to client progress.
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with state regulations and clinic policies.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by staying informed on current research, evidence-based practices, and advancements in mental health therapy.

The Shelter Counseling Clinic serves a diverse client population inclusive of individuals, couples, and families facing a wide range of mental health challenges. Our therapists work with clients dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and more. • A Master’s Degree in a relevant field of study, such as Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
• A valid state mental health license (e.g., LPCC, LCSW, LMFT) and professional liability insurance.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a mental health counseling setting, demonstrating proficiency in therapeutic modalities.

• Experience working with diverse populations and strong cultural competence in providing tailored therapy.
• Background in supervision or training of graduate students in mental health or related fields.
• Knowledge of teletherapy systems and experience in delivering remote counseling services.

The Shelter Counseling Clinic offers a competitive compensation range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
