Job description

Summary:
The Loan Advisor, Remote role is a customer focused, inside sales position within the Call Center. Loan Advisors are responsible for both inbound and outbound calls through various marketing tactics, where providing financial solutions and excellent customer service to customers is top priority. The Loan Advisor must immediately notify their supervisors and the Licensing Department if there is a change in residential address.
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Analyzes applicant information to determine whether the customer qualifies for a beneficial loan program.
  • Assists customers in discussing financial objectives and goals and takes the initial loan application.
  • Clearly communicates the loan program terms and benefits available to the customer as well as the loan process.
  • Ensures all required documents are returned and disclosures are signed in a timely manner.
  • Follows our sales process and QA requirements to remain compliant.
  • Continually meets and/or exceeds the Sales KPI's set by Management.
  • Is responsive to customers' needs and expectations.
  • Has excellent communication skills and is clear, concise, and professional when speaking with customers.
  • Is eager to develop knowledge of the mortgage industry, products, lending practices, and regulatory guidelines.

Qualifications:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
  • High School Graduate/GED, Bachelors Degree preferred.
  • At least one (1) year of mortgage sales experience.
  • Proven track record of exceptional performance.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
  • NMLS/SAFE
  • At least 1 active license or at a minimum, the ability to be licensed without having to retake the SAFE exam.
