Strategic Customer Program Manager

We develop and produce innovative high-tech components and systems based on X-ray and radio-frequency technology. Our developments make an important contribution to safer, more efficient and more sustainable production, mobility and communication. 

In the Plasma Control Technologies (PCT) division, we manufacture specialized components that are required for the precise control of plasma processes and are used in the production of memory chips or touch screens for sensors, smartphones or tablets.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Manage complex customer engagement or product programs under the supervision of the VP of Product Management and Marketing.
  • Lead cross-functional core team including project managers, sales, product managers, R&D and Operation team members to develop program timeline consistent with business strategy and expectations.
  • Drive program execution per milestone commitments (program timeline) to customers and achieve business objectives.
  • Identify potential roadblocks early and lead the team to develop and implement counter measures; Identify opportunities for improving overall performance of the program.
  • Develop plans with core team members to eliminate and/or mitigate risk.  If risks cannot be mitigated within the core team, determine appropriate means to communicate and elevate issues to appropriate individuals within the organization.
  • Interface with appropriate internal and external resources (regulatory, customers, etc.) to ensure development programs meet regulatory and customer requirements.
  • Communicate with all levels of the organization the objectives, status, risks, and needs for the program.
  • Tracks and forecasts divisional customer and product projects for new product positioning and new business expansion.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or physics; graduate degree or MBA is a plus.
  • End-to-end program management experience in Engineering or R&D within a semiconductor chip or equipment companies.
  • Demonstrated experience collaborating with program stakeholders (client and internal), end-users, business partners, and technical team members to ensure proper systems and plan alignment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to effectively communicate with multiple levels in the organization.
  • Previous experience working in a matrixed and geographically diverse business environment.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and MS Project.
  • Program/Project Management certifications preferred but not required.

The target salary range for this job is approximately $185,000 to $200,000 annually.
