Looking for hospitality experience
Has expertise on all technologies used by team. Is able to use business knowledge to follow team technical decisions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and to direct and improve a small team. Assumes team level responsibilities and identifies and resolves in-depth needs though.
• Works with product and design leads to help stakeholders translate ideas into technical solutions.
• Communicates effectively with both technical and non-technical individuals at all levels
• Designs and develops robust highly scalable client-side and server-side components with solid monitoring and alerting capabilities, adhering to architecture standards
• Works with the team to leverage unit tests effectively to ensure a high degree of code quality.
• Provide Tier 3 production support, as needed - able to troubleshoot complex technical issues through debugging, research, and investigation

Must Have:
• Javascript, Node JS, HTML, CSS, React with Hooks, Typescript
• Ability to work with Git
• Orchestrating pipelines using Gitlab (CI/CD)
• Ability to work with API's
• Familiarity with Unit testing
• Ability to collaborate with UI/UX designer and provide design feedback/suggestions.
• Good communication Skills and ability to work with product team to understand requirements and provide feedback.

PURPOSE:
Reports to Product Engineering Team Lead or Manager. The Front End Engineer's role is to develop user interface components and implement them using well-known Javascript frameworks like React.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with product, design, and development team members to understand business requirements and the desired user experience
• Experience working in agile environments that have embraced DevOps and Continuous Delivery practices
• Building highly responsive user interface components
• Developing automated tests, and deployment processes
• Mentoring junior team members.
• Provide Tier 3 production support
• Participate in architecture reviews and technology standards definition
• Demonstrate a commitment to Hyatt core values.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
• 3+ years overall of progressively responsible software development experience
• 2+ years hands on experience with Java, XML, CSS HTML and mainstream Javascript frameworks like Vue and React
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Strong Agile experience preferred
EDUCATION:
BS in Computer Science or equivalent combination of technical education and work experience.
