Manager of Graphic Design - REMOTE

Role and Responsibilities

The Manager of Graphic Design is responsible for creating visually compelling marketing and communication assets that support brand awareness, lead generation, client, broker, and member engagement, and sales initiatives. This role blends creative vision with hands-on design expertise, ensuring all deliverables are visually compelling, strategically aligned, and consistently on-brand across channels. The Manager of Graphic Design is required to perform the following duties and professionally undertake the following responsibilities:

  • Design and develop a variety of marketing assets, including PowerPoint presentations, LinkedIn graphics, email campaigns, digital collateral, and member and sales collateral
  • Create visually engaging presentations for internal stakeholders, executive leadership, internal communications, client meetings, and sales opportunities
  • Design email layouts, graphics, and supporting visual elements that enhance engagement and align with campaign objectives
  • Develop compelling social media graphics, particularly for LinkedIn, that support marketing campaigns and strengthen brand presence
  • Create and edit motion graphics, animations, and short-form video content that enhance marketing campaigns, social media engagement, presentations, and brand storytelling
  • Produce and maintain a wide range of marketing materials, including brochures, one-pagers, infographics, sales enablement tools, member communications, and promotional assets
  • Ensure all creative work adheres to established brand guidelines, maintaining consistency in visual identity, messaging, and overall quality across all channels
  • Collaborate with marketing, sales, client experience, and other cross-functional teams to translate business goals into effective visual communications
  • Manage multiple design projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Prepare production-ready files and optimize creative assets for digital and print applications
  • Stay current on design trends, digital marketing best practices, and emerging technologies to continuously improve creative output
  • Own the end-to-end execution of email design, including layout, visual storytelling, and collaboration with marketing automation teams to ensure proper deployment and performance

Required Skills and Competencies
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in presentation design, digital marketing assets, social media graphics, email design, print design, and brand identity; motion graphics experience is a plus
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and PowerPoint; experience with email platforms (e.g., Pardot, Response Genius) and Keynote is a plus
  • Experience designing for digital channels with an understanding of responsive design and accessibility best practices
  • Strong typography, layout, color theory, and visual storytelling skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a strong commitment to brand consistency and quality

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.


Position Type and Expected Hours of Work
  • Full-time, salary position.
  • Some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CT. We cover clients from the West to the East Coast; work times must be adjusted to cover meetings in all time zones. Ability to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays pursuant to industry demands.


Travel

This position requires minimal travel.


Required Education and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
  • 4–6+ years of professional graphic design experience, preferably within a marketing environment
Preferred Education and Experience
  • Experience working in a B2B marketing environment
  • Experience working in healthcare or pharmacy-related fields.
  • Familiarity with marketing automation and CRM platforms
  • Experience creating motion graphics, animated social media content, explainer videos, and presentation animations
  • Knowledge of video production workflows, including storyboarding, editing, audio integration, and exporting content for various digital platforms
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS and email design best practices
