Full Stack Engineer II
This position is a direct hire - all candidates must be able to work without sponsorship
Houston, TX - hybrid
We are in search of a seasoned Full Stack Engineer II.
You will oversee the upkeep of current custom and third-party systems, as well as conceive, create, and manage comprehensive solutions that enhance our operational workflows. Collaboration with diverse teams will be key as you craft automation tools, frameworks, and pipelines to bolster efficiency, reliability, and scalability throughout our organization.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience (7 years) as a Full Stack Engineer, Automation Engineer, DevOps Engineer, or similar role.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or JavaScript/TypeScriptalong with experience in relevant frameworks and libraries (e.g.,
Node.js, Flask, Django, React, Angular).Strong understanding of web development technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, RESTful
APIs, and modern front-end frameworks.
• Experience with automation tools and frameworks, such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Ansible, Terraform, Docker, Kubernetes, and/or Chef/Puppet.
• Experience with iPaaS such as Boomi or Workato.
• Solid understanding of software engineering principles, design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and influence technical decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and serverless architectures is a plus.
• Knowledge with Case Management Systems is a plus
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain scalable, secure and high-performance applications, APIs, and microservices using modern technologies and frameworks.
• Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks, tools, and scripts to automate repetitive tasks, workflows, and processes.
• Work closely with various departments to understand business requirements and translate them into system configurations, customizations, and
scalable and efficient software and automation solutions.
• Identify areas for improvement in our operations workflows and propose innovative automation solutions to address them.
• Continuously monitor, measure, and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of our automation initiatives.
• Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of our applications and infrastructure in production environments.
• Conducting thorough testing of software and automation components to ensure reliability, security, and adherence to quality standards.
• Perform continuous integration, deployment automation, infrastructure provisioning, and configuration management.
• Evaluate, select, and integrate third-party tools, libraries, and platforms to enhance our automation capabilities.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and best practices in automation, DevOps, and software engineering.
• Document automation workflows, tools, and best practices.
• Providing technical support and troubleshooting assistance as needed.
