This role is for one of our clients
Compensation: $45-$60 per hour
1. Overview
We are building a network of experienced education professionals to support the development and evaluation of AI systems that can understand and perform real-world educational work.
This opportunity is open to professionals across a broad range of education disciplines, including K-12 and higher education, curriculum development, instructional design, assessment and psychometrics, special education, tutoring, academic support, and educational technology.
As an Education Expert, you will translate your practical experience, professional judgment, and day-to-day workflows into structured examples and feedback that can help improve AI systems. Your expertise will contribute to making AI-generated educational content more accurate, practical, standards-aligned, and pedagogically sound.

2. Key Responsibilities
  • Design realistic educational scenarios and tasks based on your professional experience, including:
    • Lesson and unit planning
    • Assessment and item development
    • Grading and rubric-based evaluation
    • Differentiation and intervention
    • Curriculum and instructional design
    • IEPs and student accommodations
    • Student feedback and academic support
  • Review and compare AI-generated educational content for:
    • Accuracy
    • Standards alignment
    • Grade-level appropriateness
    • Pedagogical quality
    • Practical classroom applicability
  • Evaluate outputs against relevant standards, such as Common Core, NGSS, state standards, or discipline-specific frameworks.
  • Create structured examples that accurately reflect how experienced educators approach problems and make instructional decisions.
  • Provide clear, detailed written feedback to identify errors, gaps, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Collaborate asynchronously with research and evaluation teams.
  • Apply consistent professional judgment when assessing AI-generated educational work.
3. Ideal Qualifications
  • 3+ years of professional experience in education or a closely related field.
  • Experience in one or more of the following areas:
    • K-12 teaching
    • Higher education
    • Curriculum development
    • Instructional design
    • Assessment and psychometrics
    • Special education
    • Tutoring and academic support
    • Educational technology
  • Bachelor's degree in Education, a relevant subject-matter field, or a related discipline.
  • A state teaching license or certification, National Board Certification, or an advanced degree such as MEd, EdD, PhD, or a relevant master's degree is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with commonly used educational and instructional platforms, such as:
    • Google Classroom
    • Canvas
    • PowerSchool or similar SIS platforms
    • Assessment platforms
    • Curriculum and learning-management systems
  • Strong written communication skills and excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to clearly explain professional decisions, instructional reasoning, and educational best practices.
  • Comfortable working independently in an asynchronous environment.
