Inspired Life Counseling Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Counselor to join our remote team. This full-time position allows licensed professionals, including LMFTs, LPCs, and LCSWs, to provide high-quality mental health care to clients across Tennessee. This role is fully remote, enabling you to work from the comfort of your home in Cookeville, Tennessee, or any location that suits your lifestyle. You will work a structured schedule of Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic. We utilize advanced telehealth technology to facilitate sessions, making it easy for you to connect with clients while maintaining the necessary confidentiality and security of their information.

As a Mental Health Counselor with Inspired Life Counseling Services, your responsibilities include:

• Conducting therapy sessions remotely using evidence-based therapeutic methods that cater to the individual needs of clients.
• Performing virtual mental health assessments to evaluate client needs accurately, developing tailored treatment goals and strategies.
• Maintaining detailed documentation of session summaries and treatment interventions while adhering to ethical and legal standards of practice.
• Engaging in continuous professional development and training opportunities to enhance your clinical skills and stay current with industry best practices.

You will work primarily with clients who have been pre-screened to ensure they are stable and present low acuity concerns. This allows for a focus on meaningful and impactful therapeutic interactions. Our diverse patient population includes individuals across various demographics seeking support for anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and life transitions, among other mental health challenges.

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree or higher in a mental health-related discipline.
• Active licensure in Tennessee as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW, in good standing.
• A minimum of 2–3 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting.

While not mandatory, preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate experience with:

• Telehealth counseling, showcasing familiarity with virtual therapy tools and platforms.
• Working with diverse populations and an understanding of various cultural perspectives in mental health.
• Engaging in interdisciplinary collaboration with other mental health professionals.
