Bellarine Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our dynamic team. This full-time position offers the unique opportunity to work remotely while providing essential mental health services from our outpatient office location in sunny Miami, Florida. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth assessments and evaluations, utilizing standardized tools and interviews to pinpoint clients' mental health needs effectively.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Family Systems Therapy, to address diverse emotional and psychological challenges.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including case managers and psychiatrists, to coordinate comprehensive care plans and ensure holistic treatment approaches for individual clients.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention for clients facing acute mental health crises, applying de-escalation techniques and safety planning to support their emotional well-being.
  • Participate in community outreach programs and therapeutic workshops to promote mental health literacy and reduce stigma, influencing positive change beyond the clinic.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A valid and active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
  • A masterโ€™s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport and relationships with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated cultural competence and the ability to navigate issues of diversity and inclusion in treatment settings.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively, ensuring timely and accurate documentation of client interactions and treatment progress.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience providing direct therapy services in a mental health setting.
  • Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to ensure accurate and efficient documentation.
  • Experience in community mental health settings and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
