As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will encompass the following:

• Conducting thorough assessments to understand each client’s mental health challenges, formulating clinical diagnoses, and designing effective treatment plans tailored to their unique situations.
• Providing individual, couples, family, and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to address various mental health issues.
• Delivering crisis intervention to clients in acute mental health crises, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate support strategies to ensure their safety and well-being.
• Maintaining detailed, accurate, and confidential client records, including progress notes and assessment results, consistently complying with ethical guidelines and legal regulations.
• Collaborating closely with an interdisciplinary team comprising psychiatrists, social workers, and healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
• Educating clients and their families about mental health topics, treatment options, and community resources, while advocating for their rights and needs within the healthcare system.
• Engaging in ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and conferences, ensuring that you remain knowledgeable about the latest best practices in mental health therapy.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse clientele, including individuals representing various cultural backgrounds and age groups dealing with a spectrum of mental health issues ranging from anxiety and depression to trauma-related disorders. Adopting a culturally sensitive and personalized approach will be essential in effectively addressing the varying needs of our clients.

• Must hold a current license as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) in the state of Arizona.
• Possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in fields such as counseling, psychology, social work, or a closely related area.
• Exhibit strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills with a minimum of two years of experience in a similar role.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building rapport with clients.
• Ability to work independently while integrating with a team-focused approach to holistic care.
• Commit to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in practice.

While a minimum of two years of relevant experience is required, previous work in clinical settings is advantageous. Familiarity with telehealth practices and digital therapeutic tools is preferred, as it will enhance the ability to connect with clients effectively and deliver optimal care remotely.
