Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct initial assessments and develop personalized treatment plans based on thorough evaluations of clients' mental health and psychosocial needs.
  • Provide therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, employing diverse techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive client care, participating in case discussions and contributing to treatment planning.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards to support client care and clinical documentation requirements.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development to remain informed about the latest research and advancements in mental health practices.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our LPCs work with a diverse client base, including individuals facing short-term challenges such as stress management, work-life balance, and conflict resolution. You will have the opportunity to support clients from various backgrounds and cultures, addressing issues like anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and relationship difficulties.

Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in professional counseling or a related field is required.
  • Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.
  • Ability to meet internal credentialing requirements for clinical settings.
  • A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or individuals dealing with substance abuse issues.
  • Proficiency in conducting assessments and facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.
  • Basic computer skills, including experience with electronic health record systems and data entry.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience utilizing evidence-based practices in therapy.
  • Previous involvement in multidisciplinary teams or community mental health initiatives.
  • Demonstrated capacity for managing client caseloads effectively, ensuring timely follow-ups and progress monitoring.
