Job description

Our client is searching for an Application Support Specialist that has experience supporting GIS for a remote position.

***All candidates must have some experience with GIS and any experience with Esri is highly desired.***

Description

โ€ข Provides Help Desk support to end users helping users to navigate and troubleshoot software issues, new/unfamiliar processes, and tools.

โ€ข Facilitates the interaction between clients and technology providers (internal and external), working closely with technical resources and System Administrators as needed to troubleshoot problems determine solutions.

โ€ข Reports and tracks incidents and enhancement requests.

โ€ข Support training and testing efforts leading up to implantation, as well as changes and releases post go-live.

โ€ข Document + update business processes and procedures.

Required Qualifications

Experience providing application, software, or Help Desk support in a business environment.

Working knowledge of GIS applications, preferably Esri products.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

All candidates must submit to a drug and background check.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Tucson, AZ.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
