Job description

The Senior Financial Analyst within the Enterprise Financial Services (EFS) Center of Excellence is a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in Business Intelligence, data analytics, and process automation using no-code/low-code technologies. This role is instrumental in driving operational efficiency, enhancing data-driven decision making, and advancing the organization's automation capabilities.

This position combines strong technical acumen with advanced analytical capabilities to support the Enterprise Financial Services organization through innovative automation and reporting solutions. The incumbent will identify, evaluate, and prioritize automation opportunities, and design and develop scalable solutions using Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technologies. 

In parallel, this role will serve as a key driver in modernizing financial reporting by leveraging tools such as Dataiku and Tableau to deliver dynamic, insightful, and actionable reporting.  The Senior Financial Analyst will lead efforts to streamline and optimize transactional Accounts Receivable (AR) processes through the development of both ad-hoc and recurring reports. These insights will support performance management, uncover process improvement opportunities, and enhance overall operational effectiveness across EFS.

Additionally, this role will play a critical leadership role in continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating a broad spectrum of transactional activities, defining key performance indicators, and establishing meaningful metrics that objectively measure performance against enterprise goals. The individual will effectively communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders, ensuring alignment and enabling informed decision making across the organization.

This position is not hybrid/remote and will be located in the Higbee Building in Cleveland, OH.

  • 3+ years of experience in Finance, RPA, BI, or Analytics
  • Experience with Excel to extract and manipulate data.

  • Master's Degree in Business, IT, or a related field

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES                                                                       

CORE RESPONSIBILITY 1:  ENTERPRISE FINANCIAL SERVICES ANALYTICS AND REPORTING

  • Work with Enterprise Financial Services leadership team to develop standardized value-added Analytics and Reporting across the enterprise.  Maintain ongoing dialogue with EFS leadership to ensure that Analytics and Reporting are representative of critical business results and adjust as necessary.

  • Work with Enterprise Financial Services leadership to establish standard performance metrics and develop Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Accounts Receivable and other Enterprise Financial Services supported.  Drive accountability for KPI performance through monthly reporting of results.

  • Partner with Enterprise Accounts Receivable Organization to define use of data analytics and reporting in the management and measurement of Accounts Receivable performance.

  • Develop and distribute operational reports to support management decision-making and operational excellence across the Enterprise.
  • Using multiple data platforms, provide both ledger and sub-ledger Accounts Receivable related reporting as part of the Month End Closing process.
  • Provide ad hoc reporting and other analysis as requested.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY 2: ENTERPRISE FINANCIAL SERVICES ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE PROCESS AUTOMATION

  • Develop code within RPA systems to automate identified processes
  • Partner with EFS teams to identify opportunities for existing state and/or future state process automation.  Once identified, map related business processes and work with functional design team to implement appropriate BI tools. Participate in related end-to-end testing to ensure successful achievement of identified process automation.
  • Work with EFS Global Process Owner team to review existing end-to-end AR related business processes to evaluate for new automation opportunities.
  • Develop Dashboards of key metrics and KPIs and systematically share with all members within the EFS organization.

CORE RESPONSIBILITY 3: ENTERPRISE FINANCIAL SERVICES REPORTING AUTOMATION 

  • Use tools including Dataiku, macros, Microstrategy, Tableau, PowerBI and intuitive formulas to automate report generation

  • Identify potential synergies between reports that may reduce overall report build times

  • Develop reusable templates and dashboards to expedite creation of reports
