Job description

RCIS (a division of Zurich North America) is currently hiring a Private Products Pricing Analyst this person will report to the Head of Underwriting, Crop Analytics.  This person can work in a remote location.

Responsibilities:

  • Role supports private products pricing function using a strong knowledge of private products in Crop Insurance
  • Role will conduct pricing of crop insurance products (hail, wind, and rain products) using NCIS loss costs
  • Work with Actuary Lead to create better target prices for private products at the plan and endorsement level for each county where the products are sold
  • Work with NCIS on loss cost data which determines the pricing

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and 5 or more years of experience in the Product Development area OR
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent and 7 or more years of experience in the Product Development area AND
  • Property and Casualty insurance experience in one major line of business
  • Underwriting and/or Claims experience

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding how private crop products are priced and developed
  • Understand how data is used to appropriately calculate a target price
  • Strong crop insurance knowledge, particularly in the private products space
  • Strong Excel background
  • Strong data analysis skills, working with enterprise level data sets
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills

Your pay at Zurich is based on your role, location, skills, and experience. We follow local laws to ensure fair compensation. You may also be eligible for bonuses and merit increases. If your expectations are above the listed range, we still encourage you to apply-your unique background matters to us.

The pay range shown is a national average and may vary by location. The proposed salary range for this position is $75,800 - $124,100, with short-term incentive bonus eligibility set at 15%.
